Community Support Workers 

  • Whānau Resilience Programme kaimahi (1 x 40 hours per week)
  • Delivery of Ministry of Social Development contract for the delivery of long-term healing and recovery for whānau affected by violence to create strong, resilient communities where whānau are supported to live violence free and to eliminate violence for the next generation.
  • Developing and delivering programmes focused on rangatahi healing and resilience.
 
 
  • AoD Counsellor (1 full time position 40 hours)
  • Support the wellbeing of tangata with their addictions and support their whānau, with appropriate strategies, counselling, or referrals to other services.
 
 

Te Kaupapa – Our Purpose:

We are a Kaupapa Māori health service and provide our health and social services across the whole Wairarapa region. 

We aim to create wellness for our whanau and our communities. To do this, we work with whānau and tāngata where there is stress, distress, trauma, to develop hope and support. Our services include Youth Mental Health, Whānau Ora, rongoā services, community mental health for those with mild to moderate distress, alcohol and addiction services and developing resilience for those who have experienced the trauma of family violence. Whanau ora are our success measures.
